ABF Freightsm State Driving Champions Head to National Truck Driving Championships

  • By winning their respective state championships, 19 ABF Freight drivers earn a spot at Nationals
  • Competing drivers also must have maintained accident-free driving records for the preceding 12 months

FORT SMITH, Arkansas, August 11, 2015 — ABF Freightsm, an ArcBest company (Nasdaq: ARCB), has 19 drivers who have earned the right to compete in the 2015 National Truck Driving Championships Aug. 11-15 in St. Louis.

The event, hosted by the American Trucking Associations, features over 400 of the country’s top professional drivers competing in a skills test, pre-trip inspection and a written exam.

Drivers earned the right to compete in the national championships by winning first place in their respective classes at the state level and by maintaining accident-free driving records for the preceding 12 months.
